Here now- a few comments

Bacon cheddar is the popcorn flavor DS wanted to try, but I guess it wasn't available during our stay. When we arrived Saturday, the flavor listed was dill pickle. Every day for the rest of our trip, it was nacho cheese. DS wasn't sure if he would want that. Anyone try the nacho cheese flavor popcorn?

Go figure....LOL I asked them about Dill Pickle and they said they didn't know when it would change, I'd have to keep checking. I only tried the Bacon Cheddar, for 5 days that's all they had. LOL

Here @ CA (APEE) waiting for RSR to open. They test ran empty cars since 7am. We are mid beginning of que so we can wait. PAP so if its the only ride today .... fine by me.

That's why we decided to use our APEE for LFT first.

This morning, as were walking back from Goofy's kitchen we saw 4 police cars and circle of police and security and big wigs in suits all having a meeting in the bus loading area. We knew something was up and then heard on the news there is a planned protest at DLR. We were glad to be leaving today. Now I'm at LavenderPeach's house visiting (my sister). After 6 days we are exhausted!

We headed home around 10:30 am and didn't notice any protest going on. We wanted to go on Toy story but the line was 40 min deep. After the 1 1/2 hr wait for RSR did not want to do it again. My family is use to camando style for early morning hour but the wait slowed them down so they just went with the flow for my sake! Can never regret getting some family time in!
So went to Starbucks Got my Berry Hibiscus drink;went next door to candy shop to pick up my favorite cashew chocolate covered pretzel stick and enjoyed the surroundings @ Carthay Circle area while eating! 1st time to hang out there & enjoy the shops! Lots of cool clothing in those shops! Saw lots of burn out tank tops, tees w/ some bling & PJ sets I liked for myself! Updated fashion with a little disney flair! Only 1 ride but a relaxing morning for me!

Thanks for all the updates, everyone. We are getting ready to head to DL in early August and I was especially glad to hear that APEE was obtainable right after AP activation, since we are hoping to be able to take advantage of that benefit. Hopefully the protests and violence will have settled down by then-- that is a bit worrisome, and something you don't usually think about happening when you are at The Happiest Place on Earth!

We tried the nacho cheese and dill pickle. Dill Pickle was the bomb (had it again on a second visit) but nacho cheese was just ok. I wouldn't get it again. My friend stood in line for almost an hour the first time to get it.

To be more specific about the APEE. We turned in our AP vouchers around 11am on Sunday. On Monday afternoon, when we went back for our nap around 3pm, I was able to sign up for APEE. They sent me a confirmation email which I took a picture of since I couldn't print it out in the room. Just in case there was some mix up. But there wasn't, and our APs scanned fine for APEE.

You're welcome. Just got home today! One thing I wanted to do but never got to was go on the Red Car Trolley. There seemed to be a lot of people waiting for it when we went by and we just never got to it. Oh well, next time. We also missed the Instant Concert. We were just never there at right time.

However, we did stop to watch a lot of street shows. We saw 5 and Dime, Minnie's Fly Girls (some), The Newsboys, the Mad Tea Party, DJ in CL. Oh, and Maturo in DTD (one of DH's favorites). We don't get to do that when we have the boys with us. Oh, and we also saw Voices of Liberty- also very good.
