I thought the same thing when I saw the new clip. :) I do remember Sunday night 7pm or ?, was about the only thing I, as a child, looked forward to on TV. "The Wonderful World of Disney"! :goodvibes
I couldn't wait. I was like a child at christmas. I just remember my dad making us go to church on Sunday nights and me hoping we would make it back in time for the movies. :Pinkbounc I don't remember ever being that excited about anything else on t.v. :happytv: That's why I wish they would bring it back. Just think of all the long time converts they would have in this generation. :teeth:

Very cool. I saw it when I saw Pirates 2 and was like what the heck? A new logo? Its' awesome.

Thanks so much for sharing!! I played it a few times before returning to post my reply!! It gave me that feeling everyone is describing!! :goodvibes

I remember when Jiminy (sp?) Cricket was the host/narrator for the weekly Disney movies. He wore a top hat and had a cane.
Does anyone else remember that? :cloud9:

It makes me think about when I was younger and they had Disney movies on tv on Sunday nights. :sad1: Am I giving away my age? It gave me goosebumps. I used to look forward to those movie nites. I wish they would bring that back for my kids. :)
I remember that too from the Sunday night Disney movies!!! It also kind of reminds me of Soarin when you fly into the fire works....It was at the beginning of the new Pirates movie, and I automatically got that silly grin on my face! :bitelip:

Those Darn Disney Folks, They sure know how to play on our emotions !!  :goodvibes

I'm a bit sentimental toward the old one, so I had a knee-jerk 'No' reaction the first time I saw it. (My mom and I had a conversation afterward: "I read that new logo in front of Pirates is going to be the permanent one." "Oh." ... "Feels kind of wrong, doesn't it?" "Yeah." Heh.)

But the more I see it, the more I like it. And I've been feeling very optomistic about the future Disney movies lately, so it's sort of symbolic of change to me.

...I have a good feeling about it all. :)

I felt the same way. I was like, "You can't improve on greatness!" But the more I see it, the more I like it. Besides, almost anything Disney gives me goosebumps.
