:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I know how she feels! I wish I were as limber as she is -- I'd be doing the same thing!:rotfl2:

Your DD is very cute!:cutie:

Is that a lobster trap on the sand?

Wow! I love the beach setting. Beautiful! I am not a tropical beach lover--I am a New England beach lover--whatever that is! LOL
She's a doll and has every right to be jumping for joy. Down here in the south, everything is blooming--red bud trees, dogwoods, flowers. The grass is green and looks like carpet! I love Spring! I'd do a cartwheel too, if I wouldn't break a hip or something doing that!!:lmao:

What a leap!!! LOL She's very cute! We're getting excited too - one of my friends who lives inland that I see said yesterday ok we'll get together in June and I was like yeah we can go to the beach. She looked at me all funny like you go to the beach in June?? YEP! Who cares that it's a little colder. Last year we were still sitting on it at the end of September!

Great pictures - looks like Old Orchard Beach to me. :goodvibes

She looks like she's a lot of fun! I love that last picture.:)

What fun pictures! Your daughter is a character, not to mention flexible. :yay: You need to frame them it would make a great series on a wall.
We get just as excited around here too when spring is apparent! Its been way too long.

Pam: Yes, that's one of many lobster traps that get washed up on the beach during the winter. You'd be surprised what one can find when walking along the beach after a winter storm.:)

Buckalew11: Now see, I'm more of a tropical beach lover.:cool1: The Maine coastline and beaches are beautiful, but I like the greenish/blue warm waters in the south. The water up here is way too cold for me.:scared1:

paras4ri: Yes! The pictures were taken right by the pier in OOB! We actually live only a few miles from Kennebunk Beach, but we were checking out things further north.:)

Wow -- I never knew that they washed up to shore -- but it stands to reason!

Funny about the swimming in Maine - we vacationed in Camden in July 1999 (The New England states are my absolute favorite place, btw) and DH and DS went down to this little beach one morning to swim! The locals were aghast!:rotfl2: They couldn't believe my guys were going to swim, tried to talk them out of it! DH and DS didn't listen and dove in!:rotfl: The locals were like, "Well, the newspaper photographer will be down here shortly to snap a picture of the crazy tourists swimming!":lmao:

DH and DS swam for awhile -- but didn't last that long because of the cold water temp!! Don't know if the photographer ever showed up or not.

DH and DS did the lobster boat tour and loved it! DD and I did a sailboat tour.

What fun pictures! Your daughter is a character, not to mention flexible. :yay:

Yeah, I think we'll keep her!:rotfl: She's 16 years old and just an all around great kid! She dances 12/15 hours a week, so that's where she gets the flexibility. She can even bend over backwards and walk on her hands and feet down the stairs. It looks kind of like a spider, or like the girl in the Exorcist; really creeps me out.:scared:

Great pictures!! I was in Maine once and fell in love with your home!

We vacationed at OOB a few years ago. Stayed at Baileys Campground. I remember my DD swimming in the ocean in the summer and her lips were such a great shade of BLUE! :scared1: What a beautiful area. You are so lucky to live there!

Oh, that's just because you think the grass is greener! ;) Move away from those beautiful northern beaches like I did and you'll really miss the beauty of them! Actually, I know what you mean and I'll take a tropical beach, don't get me wrong but I love the beaches up North. What a blessing to experience the different places/looks, huh?!

Great pictures, luvflorida! My first thought was "this girl is a dancer" and I see that she is indeed. I am gald you are enjoying the Spring. My DH and I will be up in Wells in a few weeks. Southern Maine has the best beaches in the world! :)
