Works on XP, not sure on others........

Want to see your desktop without minimizing one program at a time, here’s how:

1)Right click the taskbar (usually on the bottom of your screen)(in an area without an icon)
2)Select Toolbars
3)Select Quick Launch

Several icons appear on the taskbar towards the left hand side

When you select the Show Desktop icon, you have your desktop back on your screen.

Neat. Hope some can use this tip.

My "show desktop" icon is always visible in my taskbar. You can move those little icons around so that the ones you use the most will always be visible.

I believe that this is the default setting in Windows 98. In addition to the "Show Desktop" icon, others that appear automatically are: IE, Outlook Express & Yahoo Messenger.

Dan, this is great! Every week I e-mail a "Technology Tip" to the staff to help them learn about their computer. Last week I showed them how to color-code their e-mail. If you have any more great tips, please pass them along.:)
