I've tried Weight Watchers on my own 2 or 3 times and I always start out losing a little weight, then I give up and fall back into old habits. It's reached a point where I'm afraid to tell people in "the real world" that I'm trying to lose weight again, because I feel so bad when I fail.
So, I'm trying again. I picked up from some of the other boards that you guys are really nice and supportive.
I want to lose about 40 pounds and I'm hoping to accomplish that by this time next year. Is that a reasonable goal?
I joined SparkPeople and also Fit Day. But I'm not really sure where to go from here.

Welcome to the 2nd Greatest Place on Earth (behind Disney of course). This is the most positive, optimistic and encouraging place I have ever come across. I get more energy by coming here on a regular basis than I ever have from friends or family. So I would say you have a picked a great place to come for some support.
It really means a lot to me. And it also made me realize that I was setting myself up to fail before I even started. I've got this mind set that I'm just going to fail again (I noticed when I read back through my post). So, I'm resetting that toxic mindset and I want to be healthy.
