Here goes a really dumb question but I've

looked. Can someone please explain to me what the symbols (the color of the dot and the caution sign?) under your name when you post something means. I've been on these boards disrocksfor a long time and I guess I need dis101.

The dot is whether you are on line or not. Green means yes. The caution sign is to report a bad post.

The green one lets everyone know if you are on and the other is to report a bad post.....(yours) if needed.

if you put your cursor on any symbol the explanation of what it is will pop up-this goes for any symbol everywhere, not just these boards.

the exclamation mark in the triangle is to report a post, the colored dot - when green indicates that user is on line

ps - there is no such thing as a dumb question

*nods* I was going to say the same thing. If you don't know what something is, just hover your mouse over it. It will tell you after a second or so.
