Here come the price increases!

I went ahead and ordered my AP w/ my DVC discount today, even though I'm not coming down until September.

I bought the last of our AP's through DVC this past week too. I went on the dvc member site today and saw their price list has been updated there, however if you click to buy online, the old prices still apply. Guess that will change come tomorrow.

Kinda kicking myself for not buying ours at our MWR office yesterday since they aren't open on the weekends. The childs FL Resident Seasonal AP is only going up $12 but that is a day on the DDP plus an extra snack. :sad2:

I don't even look at the individual prices anymore. I just "bundle" everything and look at the grand total. I run "it" several different ways until I find the lowest price that suits my budget for the trip. ;) Everything goes up every year, WDW and everything else.....

The price per ticket was $35 per day when Dh & I took our first trip in the early '90's. I though it was outrageous then....

I found a MNSSHP ticket from 2004 and the ticket was $34.95 adult (day-of ticket) and $28.95 child (day-of ticket) and parking was only $8.00.

I heard today on our local news that Disney ticket prices were increasing 5%. I would like to know what Disney plans to do to keep traffic up to their theme parks in light of the reduced flights and higher prices on flights to Florida. I guess they plan to make it up on the higher ticket prices and increased local attendance.

Our AP's are good through early December and we have airline tix for October so we will be there for the F&W festival. :)

Things must be good for Disney if they can raise ticket prices at the risk of reducing crowd sizes. I'm now thinking of not going this fall anyway, so this makes my decision easier as I'll shift my savings to pay for next January trip.
