We are here for 2 nights, first visit, after staying at our "home" BWV for 6 nights.

I love the location and the pool, but the 1 bedroom villa is another story.

What is with the bathroom? I feel like a mouse in a maze with doors, it's hard to figure why they have 6 doors within 8 feet of each other.

Other than that; it's DS's birthday and we are off to MK, DHS and Epcot in one day.

mmmm... wish I was where you are. We have snow this morning. Have a good rest of your trip. :)

I've never stayed in a 1 BR, so I'm not familiar with the bathroom doors. However, I love the BCV and hope you enjoy your stay there. What kind of view do you have? I hope they're playing something good for "Movies on the Beach"-that's something we really enjoyed.

Did you not stay in a 1BR BWV when you were there, or did you have a studio? I haven't been in a 1 BR BCV, but had a 1BR BWV a few weeks ago with the zillion and one doors around the bedroom/bathroom. I thought they were all kind of the same. I agree, it's a weird setup. I kept starting to think about why it might make sense ... but then decided that was too much thinking while on vacation! :lmao:

Are they currently doing any refurbishing of the BCV's?

I actually prefer the BCV 1-B/R bathroom set-up, especially since we are a family of 5 all trying to get ready at once. The extra door you do not like is a godsend....it's the door that closes off the toilet room. So someone can be using the sink while someone else is using the potty, or using that room to change clothes. At BWV the shower, sink and toilet is all in one room, limiting options. But, to each his own. Hope you have a great trip!

I can't wait to see all those doors at BCV next month - I thought the BWV thing was weird, but it was partly for what you said - the shower & toilet together didn't make sense to me - is it like that at BCV? It would seem more efficient if you had those 2 things separated, especially with a lot of people getting ready. There was another sink in the jacuzzi area, so that part wasn't so bad.

The bathroom setup at BCV and BWV are pretty much identical, with 1 exception.
In BCV, there is an extra door in the sink/shower/toilet room that separates the sink/shower from the toilet.

There are really 2 rooms. One has a jacuzzi and a sink, the other a shower, toilet, and sink. Obviously the setup is designed so that someone staying in the living room can get to the bathroom without going thru the bedroom, and someone staying in the bedroom can get to the bathroom without going out into the hall.

There are 4(BWV)/5(BCV) doors in all (and that includes a closet door, but not the shower door). One from the bedroom to the hall, one from the jacuzzi/sink room to the shower/toilet/sink room, one from the hall to the shower/toilet/sink room, a door between the sink/shower and toilet in the sink/shower/toilet room (in BCV only), and the closet door. There is another door in the hall area for the washer/dryer.
