AWESOME as usual. We checked in around 10:45am. As we turn onto CSR property, I knew I was home. The huge CSR sign on both sides of the entrance welcomes all guests to the resort. The landscaping is beautiful and perfectly maintained. We pulled up to the bellhop station and someone helped us with our luggage. I walked in to check in and there was a some crowd. It only took about 15 minutes to check in. We got cabana 9b so I was happy. CM's here are still using the old maps and numbering system. When I made my request for a room I used both the old and new numbers to avoid a mix up.
Our room wasn't ready yet so it was of to the Pepper Market for lunch. Had to start off vacation with a Wet Burrito. It was around 11:15am and the crowds were very minimal. CM's were great. Cleaning tables, getting refills for guests, cleaning the tables. I saw them come around and ask guests if they had questions about the PM. You definitelt get more service than a average food court.
Then we walked around the resort to check out the pool and that also was not very crowded. Tables were still available so DD went for a swim. Learned to bring here suit in a separate bag that we always carry with us. The lifeguard play games with the smaller kids. I was watching her. She spent around an hour playing all types of water games with the kids. It was great.
We were pleasantly surprised to find our room ready after that around 1:20pm. Everything was perfect. The fridge was in the room and incased with a decorative box. Will post pictures later. DW called for more pillows and coffee and within minutes they showed up with the pillows and a bag of coffee (4 extra) for DW.
The Maya Grill is now offering a lunch buffet. I'll post the menu later. It runs from noon till 2:00pm. Looks good. I know they have a good breakfast buffet but this will be another option for guests.
The weather is awesome. 75 to 80 degrees and no humidity.
The resort doesn't seem that crowded but I think there is 2 conventions going on. One looks ot be some sort of Native American convention and the is a defense convention. Lots of military personnel and guests carrying bags that read Dept of Defense, Pentagon. They look official but making the pool and buses seem empty. Works for me and I feel safe too.
After the swim, we went to MGM. DD wanted to ride ToT and RnR. We got to ride each twice. The park didn't seem crowded as I expected. 15 min wait on ToT and 30 on RnR. RnR got up to 45 after our 2nd turn. But even the crowds walking around the park didn't seem too bad. I'll know better today, we are hitting EPCOT.
Came back to the resort and got some take out from the Pepper Market and ate by the pool while DD wnet swimming again. Or should I say rode the slide 20 times. The pool bar and food section closed at 6:00pm. Made sense since there was only about 30 people at the pool.
The high speed internet service in the room is cool and really easy to use. I saw guests using the WiFi at the pool bar too.
I left my laptop out and so far (knock on wood) no issues.
Any questions, let me know and I'll try to answer tonight.
Off to Mission Space and Test Track!! I hope I can get on Soarin'

I'm sooo jealous. Have a great time and if you have free time
please snap a few shots of that jr. suite for me. Please don't go way out of your way for it...for heavens sake, you're on your vacation. But if you get the opportunity. Thanks and think of us poor
sad folks sitting here dreaming about the world.
