Here's a list of places we ate last week and a little review of each!
***all restaurants we went to were VERY toddler friendly!!!

Wednesday 3/17
lunch- Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL
Fun place to eat! Great atmosphere for families and wonderful sandwiches! Can't remember which one we had but it was on a focaccia bread. yum!
dinner- Mama Melrose's at MGM
Nice atmosphere- the waiter loved our DD. Great bread with olive oil and some sort of red sauce to dip it in. The spicy sausage and rigatoni was kinda sour??? No refills on drinks :(
waiter must have forgot about us.

Thursday 3/18
lunch- Columbia Harbor House at MK
Good counter service with a very tasty Starboard Deck Sandwich- yummy! '
dinner- Biergarten at Epcot
This place was FANTASTIC! the food was awesome- the atmosphere was so much fun! we dined with a very nice family from New York/NJ area. DH and I both had a liter of beer! DD loved the polka band and couldn't wait to get on the dance floor! we had a blast here!

Friday 3/19
breakfast- Chef Mickey's at Contemporary
This was so much fun. All the characters came to see DD at least twice. The food was really good and we really had fun watching DD get to meet her favorite characters!
dinner- San Angel Inn at Epcot
Very romantic setting with wonderful mexican food. More on the authentic side of mexican food in my opinion. the salsa was pretty hot- but we liked it. Very good margaritas too! Muy bueno!

Saturday 3/20
lunch- Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom
Fun atmosphere- we sat in front of a big Gorilla. DD liked when it started "raining" and when the monkeys and gorilla would start making noises. It was cute. Huge portions- good food- kinda pricey for lunch- but yummy.
dinner- Artist Point at the WL
This meal was fantastic. we both had the Chef's Menu which consisted of soup (out of this world), salad, entree, and dessert. DD had pb and j and chips...LOL
This was a very nice upscale yet casual restaurant that was very "kid friendly" We LOVED the food here- it was our most expensive meal of the week, but it was a great way to end our trip. This restaurant is a MUST on our next visit!::yes::

thanks for the reviews

Thanks for the reviews...sounds like you had a great time!

Just wondering which characters you saw at Chef Mickey's?

Thanks for the wonderful reviews. Glad you liked Artist Point, it is the one place we are going to make sure we eat at on our next trip.

Thanks for the reviews! Is there a fixed price on the Chef's Menu at AP and could you choose any entree/any dessert? What was the price? When we were there several years ago this was not an option. Sounds wonderful...

At Chef Mickey's we saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, ,and Chip and Dale.

At the Artist Point, the chef menu was $47 and included a wonderful portobello mushroom soup, your choice of a field greens salad or one with some fruits and nuts, your choice between 3 entrees (salmon, filet, and one other), and your choice of either a berry cobbler with berry ice cream or coffee two ways(it was a bread pudding and creme brulee). I'm sure that the menu changes periodically- but that's what was offered Sat 3/20
The meal was wonderful!
They also offered a wine sampling- but we passed on that.
Enjoy::yes::

3/2/04 Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review B
Dinner show was great. We always plan to hit this once on a visit. We both would recommend this to anyone. Waitress was friendly and even brough macaroni and cheese to my DD. She only ate half of that and our waitress even brought out peanut butter and Jelly. Great service and my DD liked the mac and cheese.
Ribs, Chicken, Beer, Salad, Corn and Bread. Everything was very good. It cost me about $220 for 4 adults and 1 child. Gratuity was included.

3/3/04 The Coral Reef D
Oh my, I didn't hear the end of it from the grandparents and wife since I made all the dinner reservations. Not one of us enjoyed our meal. They don't have a termendous selection if you don't like seafood. Very expensive for what you get. Pop Pop got a stuffed pepper on top of egg plant that only cost $17. In all I paid for 2 adults and 1 child $86 for 1 glass of beer, regular drinks for the DW and DD, two bowls of elbow macaroni with very little cheese and chicken in them, and couple of shrimp and a steak that I've made hamburger patties larger than that was. This was a stinker for us. The only one to report of in our 11 days there.

3/4/04 50's prime time cafe C+
Good food and atmosphere. Reminds me of Mom's meals. I would recommend this to those who are planning to stay at MGM for fantasmic. Never been to the brown derby but I heard that is good as well. I had to cancel my Ressies for Le Cellier that night because everyone wanted to see fantasmic. We ate instead at hollywood and vine. Nice buffet. I would give it a C+.

3/5/04 San Angel Inn B+
Excellent!!! Everyone one left here at this time and said this was there favorite place to eat so far. I had two margaritas and the combinacion cozemel, DW and DD loved there's too as well as the grandparents. Cost of this was around $74 or two adults and 1 child. I will make sure this is on our plan next time around.

3/6/04 Cinderella's Royal Table B-
Now we all enjoyed our breakfast. They gave us all you can eat eggs sausage bacon, and even have a cold serving of granola, fruit and yogurt that is very good as well. I have a 6 yr old DD so this was the best place to see the princesses. The boys probably would rather go elsewhere but for a DD this is where you want to be. Each princess spent time for auto's and pics at each table. We didn't fell rushed at all. Will go there again.

3/6/04 Tony's Town Square C+
DD had spagetti, DW had some kind of White pizza, and I had the stromboli. Everything was very good. The best part was that it seems that everyone misses this place. We only had to wait 5 minutes at lunchtime to get seated. We had looked over the menus of the other places and thought this was the best choice. Lady and the Tramp theme based. Service was excellent. Can't go wrong here.

3/6/04 Liberty Tree Tavern C+
Pretty good meal as well as some characters were there. Chip & Dale, Mecco, Minnie, Pluto were all making their rounds. The meal was pretty good. above average. I'll probably try my hand elsewhere next time but would recommend it.

3/8/04 Rain Forrest Cafe at Animal Kingdom C
Very unique atmosphere. I finally found out where my older brother's real family was. About every 10 minutes the apes and baboons will come alive and beat there chest, and make noise. This is for sure some of his siblings. Anyhow food was good not great. Service was OK. Was worth experiencing. I might try the one at DTD next time. The family all enjoyed there meals more than I did.

3/10/04 Teppanyaki at Japan A+
The best place I've eaten at through all my trips there. I even liked it better than my last visit to Le Cellier in Canada (A). I've tried Germany, Norway, Italy as well and this is by far my favorite.
