Does anyone wish they still had Hercules, the Muse-ical on board instead of what they have now?

When we first started going on Disney Cruise Line it was my favorite right up there next to Disney Dream's.

I wish they could bring it back!!

Was this a popular show??

Everytime we cruise with disney, we say this. It was our favorite show. Those little demons, pain and panic. I do miss that show.

Is it still playing either magic or wonder loved that show

Was one of my favorites as well....unfortunately it is not playing on any of ships currently and has not been shown in a few years on DCL.

Anyone remember Voyage of the Ghost Ship? That was another early DCL stage show and now it would be so perfect to tie-in with Pirate Night....just throw Jack Sparrow in the lead role!!

That was very early in DCL history and it was our favorite! We were always hoping they'd bring it back especially when they started the Pirate Nights. But so far no luck!

Hercules was also a good one. Would love to see that one come back.

Would love to see Hercules back on the ships in place of Villians Tonight and Toy Story! The only thing we liked about Villians was when Hades, Pain and Panic were on the stage ad libbing. :)

Pain and Panic have a big role in the Villians Tonight show, as does Hades.

But I prefer Hercules the MUSE-ical to the Villians show.

Hercules was playing the first time we went on a cruise and we still talk about it to this day. It is by far my favorite show they ever did. Pain and Panic were absolutely hilarious! I would love to see them bring it back!!

We loved the old trio more than the updated version.

Same here. We prefer by far the old Hercules. Just didn't like Villians. At the end of the show my brain was going "Is that it?"

We talk about it a lot too when on the ships. And I miss all the chacaters coming out on the last night to greet the guests.

The shows that are on board now aren't as good as that one totally.

Not a fan of Toy Story and Villians. I'm hoping Believe will grow on me. The set was beautiful but I like having the child be the center of the story and not the adult. I did like the Golden Mickey's better this time.

Its gotten to the point now that the only show that we see when were on the Magic and the Wonder is Disney Dreams.

I'm sure when we go on the Dream we will see Believe but until then we do not like the shows that they have right now.

I think they should get some new ones with the Fantasy coming out in March.

I loved Hercules the Muse-ical, wish they would bring it back. I've not seen Toy Story but DH did on our last cruise and he much preferred Hercules too.

Hercules is still our family's favorite DCL show. We loved Hades, Pain & Panic, the Muses! Great singing and great performances EVERY time we saw that show...

I think we may have even scheduled a quick cruise to see the show one last time once we found out it was being canceled.

We had an interesting talk with one of the theater managers. He said that on the comment cards, all they hear is "change the shows." So, they changed and now they hear, "bring back Hercules." He also said that based on the cost of mounting a new show, it has to run for about 6 years to have paid for itself.

And now! Direct from the underworld lounge, where he's been knocking them dead for eon's, it's that grinning ghoul of the god's himself, heeeeeer's Hades!

Herc was the most fun and an amazing show to work on, the crew in the booth and use back stage would do the dance and sing to "A star is born".
Thank goodness you couldn't hear us (the crew) thou!! :lmao:

For those on Facebook, there is a group: Hercules - The Muse-ical - At Herc's End with some great pic's and ex cast and crew speak fondly of it.

DH and I thought we were the only ones that missed that show. It was always up to date with current affairs kind of jokes.

Hercules is still our favorite DCL show - we really miss it!! I understand wanting to mount new productions, but Hercules was a classic!
