Just got back from a week at Pop and my DD's wishes came true! She wanted to meet Minnie Mouse and see Sleeping Beauty. The night of our Mickey party, DD was dressed in her Sleeping Beauty outfit and her Grandma and two aunts were her fairy godmothers. The cast members saw them and even though Cinderella was scheduled to be appearing, there was a quick discussion behind the scenes and Sleeping Beauty made an appearance instead! They all got their pictures made with her and Prince What's-His-Name (don't know who was more excited the three adults or my DD) and then DD turned around and there was Minnie in her Halloween costume! So she got autographs and pictures with both her Ladies! You should have seen her face!

We thanked the cast members and let them know how much it meant to all of us for that to happen and they seemed very glad to know that they had done something so nice.

That is TRULY wonderful to hear! I am so glad that your little princess' dream came true!

That's what DISNEY is all about! Dreams coming true!

I love stories such as these!

That's right, Phillip. Thanks, Tink22. DD didn't care about the guy at all but he was very friendly too. You could tell they were very pleased to know they were making a group of people so happy.

There were actually 12 of us, a bunch of husbands included, typical males, "I don't wanna go in there" but all grabbed the cameras taking pictures of the fairies and little Beauty with Sleeping Beauty. It was magical, all right.

The funny thing was the four of them in the parks. Everyone saw them coming and my DD is very little for 6 so they flanked her like mountains and the crowd just parted for them. It was neat.

The rest of us were dressed like other characters, two pirates, a Van Helsing, Major of Christmastown (who caused a stir) and also Mr. Incredible (who also caused a stir). We had to surround those two because they looked too 'real' and WDW doesn't like that too much, we found out.

It was not to be missed!

What a sweet story!

Ah, but she should care about Prince Phillip - he's rarely out except for special events. :flower: Our Aurora fan was quite thrilled to meet him last year at MVMCP.

Too bad we weren't at the same MNSSHP - DD was Aurora in her blue gown, I was Maleficent, and DH was Prince Phillip :maleficen
