As im getting married in WDW im having 2 hen nights, one here and one in WDW.

Anyway for the one here im thinking of doing a "murder mystery" dinner at a local hotel. The do one called "the jealous" bride which i thought may be fun?

This is the description -

The Murder Mystery Dinners for Hen Nights have been specifically designed for small groups (10-20). The style of evening is where you are all given a character to play for the evening. We send along two actors to join you and co-ordinate the evening. You are all sent an invitation letter and guest list prior to the evening explaining your character, giving tips for costumes and what you have to do on the night. The bride-to-be and groom-to-be are interwoven into the plot as integral characters, as are any other facts you wish to give us about your guests. The plot is based around a group of famous women who have been invited on to a cruise by their very rich and, equally famous, friend. It is not long into the cruise when an unfortunate death occurs. Now who could that be I wonder??? You have to solve the case whilst eating and drinking as is befitting a hen night.

The price is £50 per person which includes a 3 course meal. Im more than likely paying for all of the drinks and arranging for everyone to get there.

My question is what do you think of the idea??
And is it rude for me to ask for my friends to pay for themselves? or should i pay that for them too?? :confused3

TIA :goodvibes

I think it's a brilliant idea, something really light hearted and not just a blatent booze-fest.

I think people would be happy to pay at least in part for themselves as to go to these kind of events normally with dinner would cost you about £30 a ticket, obviously this would be a bit extra because you're the organiser so you see all of the costs.

That sounds like great fun! I think it would ok to ask people to pay for themselves, when Ive been on hen nights Ive never expcted the bride to pay for me.

Sounds great and I would not be expecting the bride-to-be to pay for it all

Sounds fab, I did one years ago on a train and it was brilliant! and definately everyone pays for themselves - I've been to 7 hen dos this year (most expensive a 2 day trip to Royal Ascot) and no one ever expects the bride to pay.

Sounds great :teeth: but I wouldnt expect the Bride to pay for her friends on a hen night
