We are finally getting to go to WDW in April!!!! Can anyone tell me what are the must see things there. I guess you can tell that we have never been and are so excited to get to go. I have two DS 12/9. We are staying at AKL. Is there one dinner show that is a must? I'm overwhemled with all that there is to do!! Any ideals would be greatly appreicated.

Some of the must dos are have at least one character meal.. my suggestion is Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. You must do (if your kids like roller coasters) Rock n Roller Coaster ToT, BTMRR, Space Mountain, PotC, there are so many to list... Fantasmic is a deffinate must do as is Wishes and Illuminations.

Most of all have a fun trip! Take this trip as a way to learn from your mistakes dont worry about rushing to keep up with a schedule just take it easy and relax!

Welcome to the DIS! You will get some wonderful ideas looking around on these boards. You might consider Hoop De Doo Revue (dinner show) if you can get it.

I second the suggestions of Rock N Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Big Thunder Mtn RR and Space Mtn and Pirates of the Caribbean.... and would add Buzz Lightyear! Also at Epcot do Test Track and Mission Space. At Animal Kingdom do Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Have fun!

I would suggest getting a guide book and reading it from cover to cover.
Some of the ones I suggest are
Birnbaums Guide to Disney, great pictures and ride descriptions
And The Unoffical Guide to Disney by Len Testa (someone correct the title if its wrong.)

How many days are you going for?
Make your self a chart.
Write down park hours and Extra magic hours (you can find these on Disneyworld.com
and include parades and fireworks
Think of dining choices based on which park you are going to be in, you can eat at a resort that is close to that park, so you do not have alot of wasted travel time.

That should give you a start....
