Yes it does get worse!!! I am 27 days out from our May 22nd 7 nt western and I go between Disboards and Cruisecritic on the hour!!! The sad part is, When this cruise is over I will be lost! I just know I will start planning another one as soon as I can get away with it

I have been counting down since 172 days! Part of the thrill of this whole thing has been these boards!

Not to mention that I have learned so much about cruising!

The only way to get away from these boards is to be ON THE CRUISE! Even that does not work for some.

If you book your next cruise on board, you can start planning it before you get off the ship. We booked then went and "spied" on our next room!

my family laughs at me now because i was the one who always said that computers were evil and i didn't want to have anything to do with them let alone the internet. after i found these boards, by accident, i'm at the evil computer for over 2 or 3 hours daily. thats a big accomplishment for me as i didn't even know how to turn the darn thing on let alone surf the boards and miracles of miracles post a reply. the dis boards is my computer learning class and i love it.

I think that we all share a fairly healthy addiction, albeit an extreme one ... truly, what is so different between this addiction & my ADULT bf still playing video games everyday!! Our loved ones are only so LUCKY that we have the boards addiction to get our fix or we'd all be broke from cruising & going to WDW everyday of the year!!! and let me say this loud & clear....

IF THE DISBOARDS ARE BAD, THAN I DON'T WANT TO BE GOOD!!!!

I agree. Every time I come up with a question I find a post that has answered it. I am really glad to have found such helpful people. I just wish I could meet some of you onboard.

Last year when I was planning our Orlando vacation I got hooked and after I switched reservations about 6 times my DH started to wonder about all the time I was spending on these boards. I felt with all the good info I got - we had a great vacation that was well orgainized and a very good deal. When we decided on a cruise - of course I knew who to turn to!. I am a wee bit crazy and check them early (6am) when I get to work - then at 5pm or so when I come home and then before I go to bed. My DH swears that I enjoy planning vacation more than going on them. (He may be right!) I just love it when we get to our destination and my organized vacation goes off without a hitch. Now if I could channel some of that organization into getting my house clean he would really be impressed. Oh well you can't win them all and of course I always tell him that he didn't marry me for my cleaning abilities. right?
