My fiance and I have decided to go to Disney World for our honeymoon....we have a budget of 2,500 (it could be a little more if we have to but would like to keep it at this) we want to go for six nights....after airfair our budget is about 2100...so I need ideas and tips!!! We want to stay onsite....is this feasable? Thanks!!

Lots of possibilities....it depends on the time of year....I'd figure about $600 for food for the week, $526 for tickets (5day hopper plus), $105 to get from the airport, that leaves about $869 for a room...about $144 per night including tax you could probably get the all stars...

Look on Mousesaverss...if you add a few dollars you could probably get another hotel...good luck..

You don't say when your trip is and some seasons are less expensive than others. Definitely look at MouseSavers.com as she will have any special codes listed. Also check out the Budget Board here at the Dis. $2100 is very doable. You may even be able to stay at a moderate or Wilderness Lodge, or Animal Kingdom Lodge if it is value season and you choose to eat more counter service type food. Enjoy your planning!:D

Oh sorry i should have mentioned that we are going in may, that is the regular season right?

The All Stars in May will be around $100 per night with some type of discount. Do you have a AAA membership? You could also try the Swan/ Dolphin. Is either one of you a teacher, nurse, or goverment worker? They offer a nice discount to all of those. With the discount the room is $139 and then the resort fee of $10 I believe. Will you spend every day all day at the parks? Then the values would be fine. If you are looking at some relaxing time then you may want to spend a little more on a moderate or deluxe. You can go to Disney.com and request a video that shows some of the hotels. :D
