I need some help. A few weeks ago someone posted about a site that after you fill out some info. they send you a scanner and scan everything you buy(the barcode). They send you a scanner and hook it up to your telephone. After grocery shopping or whatever you do this and thats all I remember. Well I filled out the info and today I got a call about it. There going to send me a scanner in a few weeks. BUT, I don't remember anything about the company. I know I sound like a complete airhead, but I sign up for so many things that I forget about them thinking they'll never choose me. Well, now that I got chosen, I'm clueless. Can anyone help me out.......

OK, I found the info. I needed. Sorry, I got it from another website. Anyway, heres the scoop...Go to this website

Its some kind of shoppers information site. They want to know what you buy and how many. If you get accepted they send you a scanner and everything that you buy you scan. The scanner is to be attached to your telephone. When they send you the scanner they will send you the directions on how to attach it.
I filled out the application sometime in the middle of July. I got a call today. She asked me a whole bunch of questions, around 10min. worth. She asked where I shop, how many times a week I shop, if I'm part of Sam's Club, or any other membership store, and other questions on that order. Then at the end of the questions, she said congratulations you'll be receiving your scanner in 4-6 weeks. She gave me a members i.d number and said all the other info needed will be with the scanner. Apparently each time you scan (from the barcode) it generates into the phne line to there company and you accumulate points. With the points you can get giftcards, gift certificates and things like that. I don't think you can get cash, but the gc are pretty good to. After all we all do shopping anyway, and while we're putting them away we can scan. I don't think its llimited with only food, I thinks its anything with a barcode.
