Hi..
Which of the following should I go for:

1) Chef Mickey's.... Breakfast or Dinner ?

2) Kids Pirate Cruise or Grand Adventures in cooking ?

Where can I get itinerary planning help?

Thanks
Ed

Hiya Ed,

Which to choose eh? It's hard isn't it?
We've only done Chef Mickey's for Breakfast and it was very good and well worth it- though our two were probably a little too old for it as it was packed with littluns.

Have heard only good things about Kids Pirate Cruise and Grand Adventures in Cookin but not done either coz of the ages of our two when we first went.

Maybe give the thread a little more info re ages and those in yer group and you should get loads of good advice here.

With regard to itinerary plannin - how long's yer piece of string? We all do it differently. I like a leisurely holider meself but some here plan their 'assault' like a military campaign.

Again, maybe start another thread along the lines of makin a plan but introduce yer party and their likes and dislikes. Maybe outline those things you simply must do and those you don't fancy at all.

Right, that's yer homework for tonight - we'll all be along to mark it tomorrer

Happy New Year!!

Hi Ed!

I took my two (aged 6 & 9 at the time) to Chef Mickeys for dinner, great food, but to be honest it was a bit too busy, large and noisy for me. The character interaction was so/so, but like we've all found people like different things and the atmosphere of places can be different one night to the next.

Can't comment on the cruise or the cooking though I did look into them both for last year and they both seemed brilliant - I would have opted for the cruise personally.

As for planning - Like Dave says, everyone does it differently. I tend to do something like:

Monday - MGM (PS at Hollywood & Vine)
Tuesday - Sea World/shopping
Wednesday - Magic Kingdom - inc. fireworks
Thursday - Epcot (lunch at Garden Grill)

etc etc. Just so I've an idea of where I'm going and fitting in any reservations. Everything with me is liable to change if necessary though (apart from reservations) and it works ok for me this way.

Suggest you do as Dave says, give us a bit more detail and then do a rough plan and then post it and ask for opinions. Staying on/off site makes a difference as does the passes you hold.

DaveSD - Ahem ...... what's this ....... you do your holiday at a leisurely pace????? hmmm, the words Army Commanding Officer spring to mind!!! :)

My 2 boys then 4 and 7 did the pirates cruise last year and loved it, although they havent asked to do it again which I thought they might.
We did Chef Mickeys for dinner and loved it, although as Astrid says it was very busy, we had a party of 6 and there was something for everyone food wise. We are going back on Feb 15th for breakfast (our 1st morning) and the boys cant wait.

Hi

We did Chef Mickey's for Breakfast and Dinner. We loved both (2 Adults - no kids). It is very noisy but very exciting all the same. Depending on what time of year you go - if the park's close early - I suggest doing the dinner after a day at the park :D

Hi

Same as Kaylee, we did Chef Mickeys for dinner, only the two of us (no Kids) and it was great. Kinda noisey but why join a rugby scrum in the parks when you can pay a little money, have some nice food and get some of the best character pictures you will every have the chance to :D

Sun 02/03-MGM Studios
Mon 03/03-To be decided
