What do you want to do? The Orlando Flex ticket covers just about every theme park except the Disney parks so if you don't want to go to Disney, the Flex ticket would be a great deal. If you want to do Disney...not so much.My wife and I along with our 12 year old son we will be Orlando for two weeks the first of July...We can't decide between the 10-Day Disney Pass and the 14-Day flex ticket?
Well...not all of it is baby stuff. Does your son like coasters and more thrilling rides? If so you would be better off sticking with the Flex ticket. If he doesn't like rides like that, stick with Disney. We are not sure...Do you think the Disney stuff will be a little to "Baby" for a12 year old boy?
The heat and crowds are bad in the summer...I don't go to any of the parks in summer and I live here.He really does love rides....
What about the crowds and heat during July?
It will be hot a humid and all the parks will be very crowdedHe really does love rides....

Our vacations are always June and July since thats the only time my wife can get off work and while it is hot and crowded we always get everything we want to do done and have fun and even met up with some friends here on the boards and now we hate it if we can't plan to go in July just to see themAll this about July and so many people are is making me have 2nd thoughts about Orlando in July.
Let's put it this way...If I had to choose between coming in July or Christmas week, I would choose Christmas week mainly because of the weather. The crowds are still hideous but at least you aren't melting. All this about July and so many people are is making me have 2nd thoughts about Orlando in July.

Make sure you wear good shoes. Wear light and loose clothes. By light I mean weight and color. Wearing black on the hottest day of the year... probably not a good idea.
Take full advantage of the AC shops taking 10 minutes out every so often will save your sanity. And over all just try and take it as easy as possible i.e. dont tell yourself you're going to do everything in one day. Have a "must do list" and if some other stuff doesnt get done... then it doesnt get done. It's not worth feeling terrible at the end of the day..
you have now gotten the TinyDancer preparedness guide.
