I'm a new mom to be at any moment and need help saving money on gas, food, electric and baby stuff....any input would be a great help

There are a number of ways to save money. I know for me I purchased a number of used items when setting up a nursery. Make sure if you are going to buy used items that they are still safe items. I would probably buy a car seat new because they can expire but furniture and swings and other furniture items if fairly new and in good condition are good. Safety standards change frequently so do your research. Clothes are good used for babies. They are often outgrown so quickly they don't wear out at that age. I wouldn't bother with a change table as I know I never used it. Newborn diapers can be skipped too and go straight to size 1 as some babies are even born too big to wear newborn diapers. Buy them in bulk if you can. I hardly ever used my diaper bag. I'm more of a throw the diaper in my purse kind of mom. Breastfeeding is still the cheapest way to feed a baby that I know of.

Saving money and time on food. ...I often make a big batch of whatever it is and eatin leftovers a 2nd day. Roast a chicken today and make chicken fajitas tomorrow etc.

I bought a lot of stuff at garage sales when my DD14 was little. We cut way down on eating out, we limited it to just once every few weeks. We were on a tight budget, like down to the last penny each month. I also only bought food that was on sale and made my menu from that. We kept the air on 80 during the summer and 65 in the winter. I also breast feed which cut down on the cost of feeding the baby.

Food: Try angelfood.com
Coupons at your local grocery store: couponmom.com
Gas: gasbuddy.com lets you find the cheapest gas around you
Babystuff: Check consignment stores OR - my favorite - the church consignment sales

Also, try growing a vegetable garden. Just a few minutes each day will yield a lot of healthy food in the fall.

Electric: Turn the thermostat to 80 degrees in the summer and leave it there. Use ceiling fans or room fans to move the air for less expense than the AC. Sleep in the basement if that is an option (We're going to this summer - just have to inform DH and the kids of this plan, LOL)
