If you want to stop in Atlanta - The Georgia Aquarium is fantastic. We've been several times. Also the World of Coke is adjacent to the Acquarium and if you go to either website you can get a combination ticket you can pickup that day. Yes, they do give you free Beverly! Both are right off I-75. Also the Atlanta Zoo isn't too far off and is a really nice "little" zoo. If you are wanting to overnight in Atlanta, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library is nearby too - and very interesting.
There is also another aquarium that isn't too bad just over the river from Cincinati (The Kentucky side) called Newport Aquarium.
The best advise would be to get a copy of Along I-75. We found may little stops along the way with that book. Mayfield Dairy in Tennessee and the first Kentucky Fried Chicken and Museum in Corbin Kentucky.
DW & I are both pilots (recreational only no affiliation with airlines) and we enjoy making a stop at the airplane museum in Dayton, OH. It's been a while, but it's an interesting stop for us.
The Smoky Mountains in Tennessee is always a nice place to stop and only about 12hrs from London, ON. We usually stay in Pigeon Forge and sight see in Gatlinburg. LOTS of things to see and do!
