Can anyone verify whether or not the studios in AK Kidani Village can sleep 5? I thought these studios included a pull out chair besides the pull out bed. I could have sworn our guide specifically brought this detail to our attention because we knew we shared with the guide that we would sometimes need the extra sleeper. I do know that the studios in the Jamba house only sleeps 4.

Now, when I went to add the 5th person to our rese's, I am being told that they only sleep 4:confused3

No, the studios sleep 4 unless one child is under 3. The one bedroom sleeps
5.

Only the one and two BR have the pull out chair to accomadate the 5th (1BR) or 9the person(2BR).

Someone correct me if I am wrong. I believe that only the standard and sav view 1bdrm sleep 5, value 1 bedrooms do not have the pull out sleeper chair and only sleep 4.

As for fitting 5 in a studio, no resorts allow it. AKV and BLT are the only resorts that even allow 5 in a 1bedroom, all others only allow 4. Could you be confused, perhaps your guide was talking about a 1 bedroom? Anyway, I think you would find 5 in a studio way too crowded, not something I would ever want to try, even if 4 of the guests were small children.

Thanks guys, my mistake, I don't know what I was thinking. I just got off the phone with services and they were able to switch my split stay (I had a studio for 6 days and a 1 Bedroom for 6 days-I wanted to bank points for next year but oh well) to 10 days in a one bedroom standard view. We had to give up 2 days :sad1: in order to take my nephew along with us. We will have 4 people but because I have my daughter I need seperate sleeping arrangements for the 2 kids. I would have taken a value 1 bedroom, but I was told they only sleep 4 like the studio with no extra chair to pull out into a bed.

:dance3:Again, thanks for setting me straight. I should have read up on this BEFORE making my reservation. We actually have 4 people but one child is mine and SHE is 12 and the other child is my nephew and HE is 15, so we really need seperate beds.

And you are right, having 4 in the studio would probably be too cramped! I just did not want to give up the Savannah View. This is our first trip home and just wanted to experience watching the animals from our balcony. :sad2:

But the plus side is that we get to share Disney with my nephew who has NEVER been there and to me that is much more important than the savannah view!:dance3:
