We want to do chef mickeys, and Crystal Palace on out up coming trip.

Thing is, breakfast or dinner?

We are not big breakfast eaters. But I have heard not so good thing about dinners at both places. Plus I have heard that if you get a early breakfast ressy at Crystal Palace you can get pics in front of the Castle without a bunch of people around.

Help :(

I can't talk about breakfast at CP but it is a favorite of our family for dinner (and my kids are DD14 & DS16). Our DD is pretty picky but finds lot to eat here.

We've done both dinner and breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Although we had a good time, we thought the food was just okay.

Enjoy your choice no matter what you pick.

We are not big breakfast eaters either. We love the CP lunch at 11:30am. It is the first sitting. We hit the park hard and love to sit down and have a nice meal.

I've had breakfast at CP and we enjoyed it very much. And a plus is if you maek your ADR for before the park opens, you do get to go into the park early and there are some phots ops. Plus if you make your ADR for around 8am or even a little earlier when you're finished you have a bit of a jump on the outer guests arriveing as you are alread in the park down Main St.

I haven't been to Chef Mickeys...My SIL went last year for dinner and didn't like the food at all - she said it wasn't good.

I've been to many character breaksfasts and have never been disappointed with the food - what can you do to ruin eggs - plus there's always fruit, cereal, yougurt, etc.

But let's face it - the main appeal fo the character meals is the characters.
And I'm sure in either buffet you will find foods you enjoy - there's always yummy desserts!

You should chose the meal and time that works best for your family. We're breakfast eaters - we love a good breakfast when we're on vacation -it's a bit of a treat for when we're home breakfast is usually a rushed meal. Plus it's a good way to start a busy day in the parks and it's the one meal DS likes most of the food! So I will always vote for teh breakfast buffet - though this year we are trying lunch at Hollywood and Vine.

Whatever you decide - I'm sure you will have fun. But make sure you're flexible when you call fro ADRS - available times may be the final thing that dictates if it's lunch or breakfast!

We've had dinner at both Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace, and have enjoyed them both!:thumbsup2
