I'm new here, totally lost - help?!?

By the way guys, I'm Beth! Hi to everybody, hope everyone's well! :)

First, let me say:welcome: to the DIS. I would suggest starting with the sticky posts at the top of each forum for some really good information. Otherwise, look around, see what interests you, learn a lot, and ask questions. Is there anything that you need help with or is it just one of those "overwhelmed" feelings? If it is feeling overwhelmed this place can do that because it has soooo much. Just look around and enjoy. :disrocks:

Welcome BethEJo, take a look around and see what you like. If I can be any help at all, feel free to ask me.

aw thanks guys for welcoming me!

it's just that when i first logged on, i didn't know where to start - definately one of those "overwhelmed" feelings :faint:

however, i do have a bit of a dilemma...

I am going to orlando with my parents and brother in 3 weeks time to do all the disney parks - sooooo excited!! the last time we went to disney was for the millenium, a whole 8 years ago and it looks like so much has changed.

since then, my parents became ill so this will be our first family holiday for a while. they've both recovered now, so this vacation is gonna be crazzzzzyyyyyyy!

i was just wondering if anyone has any ideas of something different / special / unusual we could do at disney to make this holiday even more special?

would appreciate any suggestions - do you think that i should start a thread for this?

beth

Hi Beth! Shouldn't you be studying??? (yes I read your other thread!)

There are some great special things you can do. I suggest you do some reading on the Restaurant Board and the Disney Tips boards. You may find some ideas there. Also check out the wdwinfo.com , our informational site and do some reading there for some ideas. You can also start a new thread if you would like.

Just be careful--the DIS is addictive and you may end up doing more DISing than studying!;)

I highly recommend the Segway Tour at Epcot to start your visit there. Go to the earliest available tour and you get to tour the park with no one else there!:goodvibes

SEGWAY!! nice mannnnnn :rotfl: will definitely have to do that one i think - i only ever see them on TV, i think it's about time i have a go!

And thanks "lovetoscrap" for your advice - very helpful ::yes::

and yes...i think im catching the DIS bug :lovestruc only 3 more days of exams left, and then i can go wild on this baby!!!

weeeeeeeeeeee! :woohoo:
