I need help in understanding how all these points and Web certificates work. I am not sure what I need to do and how to get them to work for me.

Can anyone help me?

Hi AMG! Welcome to the Rewards board.

There a lot of rewards programs. You can earn points through the programs that you can redeem for gift certifticates, webcertificates and sometimes, cash.

Take a look at the "How to" post. I'll bump it to the top for you. Start with one or two programs. I recommend www.mypoints.com and www.milesource.com You can redeem mypoints for webcertificates and giftcertficates. Milesource rewards with supercertificates that you can exchange for the giftcertificate of your choice from the selection at www.giftcertificates.com

Webcertificates are really a prepaid mastercard. You add the webcerts that you earn into your account and then spend the money anywhere that mastercard is accepted as payment either online or at stores(you need to get the plastic card for that-it's a one time fee of 6.95). Check out the site www.webcertificate.com
