This is our very first visit to Disney. Booked it last week and are going mid-October. We have included the mealplan and have absolutely no idea on where to eat. There are so many options! Need some urgent help and suggestions!!! Kids are 9 and 10 and somewhat picky eaters.

Hey Tracey!! Congratulations on your trip! Try checking out allearsnet.com they have all the menus so you can browse through there and see what your family would enjoy the most!! I would reccomend Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. It is a Buffet, but is alot of fun!! Are your kids boys or girls?? If you have any girls a Princess meal, if you have boys, Sci-Fi at MGM, at least my boys at that age liked the sci-fi!! Good luck!!
I hope you all have a wonderful trip!!!

I would say buffets, if they're picky. Almost anyone can find something they like at a buffet. The Crystal Palace is one of our favorites, but I don't know if your kids want to see Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet, lol.

We haven't had a bad meal at WDW, we like it all! I second the idea of looking at the menus on allears, you know your kids best, and what they like/dislike.

Let's see, I'm trying to think of where my DD (trips at 4, 5 & 6) liked to eat, I can remember the following:

For counter service
Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom
Columbia Harbour House in MK (chicken fingers, fish & chips)
Nine Dragons in Epcot (she greeted our waiter in Chinese!)
Casey's Hot Dogs in MK

For table service
Coral Reef in Epcot
Akerhaus Breakfast w/Princesses in Epcot
Crystal Palace Breakfast in MK

She didn't really enjoy 50's Prime Time (neither did I).

Once you have researched and pick out some restaurants make sure you call and make your ADR's ASAP.:thumbsup2

How about Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge this one I hear is good for boys that age! Check the menu though were going in March but never been there before! Chef Mickeys is a great one and so is Crystal palace been to both numerous times! what about Planet Hollywood in Down Town Disney? Espn club I believe has a restaurant also! My children love the rainforest cafe but in the past it has not been on the DDP! My kids are DD13 and DS8 Check these out also we are doing SCI FI DINE INN this time be sure to ask for a car! Ive also never been here but we plan on doing this on our March.April trip! Hope this helps some but definitely check out allearsnet.com and mousesavers.com

:thumbsup2
