Help: Your fav resort OFFSITE for family of 5

We loved Sheraton Vistana Villages and yet the cost is huge now. Is there any place you loved that is under $130 a night?

I am going nuts trying to decide whewre to stay in Jan 2003...

These are the rates at hotelkingdom.com for Vistana Villages.

A one-bedroom at VV is only 105.90 and a 2 bed is only 138.90. Both offer the 7th night free.

I just booked the VV for January 2003. With the 7th night free it comes to about $119 a night, which is more than worth it.

Holiday Inn Family Suite, ( HIFS) Do yourself a favor and use the search feature on top for HIFS. One of their specials is 95.00 advance booking. What are the particulars you are looking for. room size, amount of rooms, free meals included?

We really love the kitchen/kitchenette in a suite. Yes, two rooms (bedroom, sitting area) is so nice to have. We had the 2 bedroom suite at V V. Luxery after Dixie Landings small rooms for five people. (We loved it there too but too small now) Our kids are bigger now and we need more space.

We will try for V V for 7 nights and the rest at HIFS. Thank you all and keep on providing your awesome info and opinion. Elaine.

We just stayed at Holiday Villas for two nights in a three bedroom (it was an upgrade from a two bedroom) and the cost for the two bedroom was 84.00 plus 12% tax nightly. It was a very nice place and definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a nice place at an affordable rate. Disney was approx. 7 minutes away, Sea World about 15 mins.

We do not stay in hotels anymore so cannot recommend anything.
We did love Emerald Island resort though, we got it for less than $100 per night, 3 bedrooms!
