HELP!!!! wrong name showing on MDE!

HELP! so I just went on MDE to check dates for FP+... the account is under husbands name... always has been. so it's no longer showing how many days til FP+ so I clicked on tickets... we have a reservation with room tickets (which we will upgrade to passes) and dining... to my surprise the first name listed for a ticket is a female I have never heard of... and my husbands isn't showing at all... the rest of our family is showing... and I noticed this 1 minute after there phone lines closed
 
Stay calm. Log out. Clear your cookies. Try again. If that doesn't work, try again in the morning. Odds are the problem will fix itself. Or you'll have to talk to someone, but you've still got a few days before your FP+ window opens.
 
wow... that flippin crazy... without logging out or clearing cookies I went to the MB and they were under the right names... went back to MDE and looked at tickets and she was gone and my husband was back... not a good feeling... my first thought was I've been hacked... and between reservations and tickets, ding and MNSSHP I have a few grand paid for on there... still gonna call to see if they know why this happened
 
The fact that supersnoop knew exactly what to do means that this isn't exactly a new issue. The reps answering the phones won't know why; a good one will just tell you that, a bad one will start making things up. The IT reps that know what's going on aren't reps that will get on a phone call. There's not going to be any satisfactory answer to your question or the issue. They'll just be blowing smoke. I'd leave it alone. I have no interest in people lying to me or giving me wrong answers, and that's what you would be getting if you called to ask why it happened.
 

Something like this happened to me about a year or so ago on the DVC website. When I logged on, it showed a completely different account. :scared1: I could see all of their vacations and, coincidentally, the couple lives within 10 miles of me. It was very disturbing and scary since I didn't see my information at all but, after many hours on the phone with the IT dept., it got fixed.

I thought all was fine but, just a couple of weeks ago on MDE, I saw that one of my DVC reservations (for an upcoming split stay) had a different address - I think the other people!! So, we got a welcome packet for one stay, but not the other. Hopefully the magic bands will all be sent to me since I updated the address that was incorrect. I have no idea how MDE had an incorrect address for one reservation and not the other, since they were both made on my DVC account and I just linked them...
 
Op this happens , it happened to me for my last trip last year.... don't call if it's fixed, but I would get a screenshot and PRINT every page that shows your proper info while it's up,so you have a reference for if it gets it wrong again. just goes to show that MDE is still glitchy I guess, in spite of all the assurances otherwise. Only call Disney IT if you absolutely have to....
 
thanks for all your input... I decided not to call about it, but I did print up all the correct pages to keep in case it goes wrong... a few years back, before MDE on one of our Disney trips we had a split stay of 3 resorts... the first 2 upon arrival and check in, the CMs asked "could that reservation be under another name"? while they were holding my paperwork I had printed from home in their hand... :( talk about heart failure
