HELP!! WL Courtyard or Poly GV?!?!?!?

I got Poly GV at 209.00/night plus tax, but I already had WL Courtyard at rack rate. There is only a $224.00 difference over the 6 nights if we take the AP rate. With such a small discount, I am not sure that I wouldn't rather stay at WL. ANYONE have an opinion? Is WL SO great that it is worth the money, or is Poly GV wonderful? HELP!!! I have never even seen WL and it has been 15 years since I stayed at Poly!

Seeing as how we were talking about this last week, I thought I'd send you my 2 cents. If I were ya'll, I'd go for WL. I see it all the time on the monorail to the MK and I know you'll love it. Of course, you know you have to let me know what you decide- I can't wait for you to get here!

I'd go for the Poly but that's just my personal preference. I really love the atmosphere and ambiance of the poly more than any of the other hotels on site.

I'm sure that whichever you decide, it will be a great choice...how's that for advice

My only experience is the Poly GV and we were very pleased. It's such a lush resort (at least it still was after Charley ) that just looking out the big wall of windows in the room is very restful. Transportation options can't be beat either. Don't know how many people are in your party but Poly rooms are larger - was really surprised at how large they are.
Sorry I can't give you a comparison to WL - most of us would also be happy there I suspect. May come down to a personal preference as to which ambience you prefer...

When are you going? Traditionally, Poly is more expensive than WL. I am getting a $150 ish rate at WL vs. $209 at Poly for my dates using the BAT code.

We've been to both several times and really enjoy them for different reasons.

IMHO, if you can get POLY for less than WL, (usually you can't as a previous post mentioned) then I would go to the POLY.

We were at the POLY in July in a GV. We got the exact location we requested, Samoa - Ground Floor looking at the Volcano Pool, one of our favorite resort locations at WDW!

Either way, you can't lose!

Well we just came back from the WL!! First stay there for us, and let me tell you it is great!! I have always opted for the Poly, however this year tried something new and it was well worth it. We really liked the inclusiveness of the lodge. Meaning, that during rain etc. once inside the lobby you don't need to leave to get to your room etc. The ambience is second to none, such a peacefull resort. Somehow it can even calm the kiddies. Just wonderful. Have a great vacation!!

My family stayed at WL our last trip and loved it. This trip we were able to get AP rate at Poly, but only AAA rate at WL. Poly still turns out to be slightly more expensive, but the overwhelming consensus of positive posts on this board have led us to give it a try.
