Help with your Disney "thoughts"

I am writing an inquiry paper about our dear Walt! I need some thoughts or quotes that you think I should use in my paper. When I think about Disney, I get all choked up because it's a special thing to my DH and I. You know how it is when you're directly writing a paper and you have blanks. I would love for this project to be wonderful and I need to interview...so who else better than the great fans on here. Thank you so much ahead of time.

one of the things that comes to mind for me is how much things at the parks have changed (not the huge things, the small little things) since walt disney passed.

the biggest in my mind being the advent of child care at the hotels (o.k.-they call them "kid's clubs"). that was something discussed but always dismissed because walt's idea was that it was a family place where parents and kids should spend time together.

the other thing for me that's hard to grasp is the whole concept of alcohol. disneyland never served it (still does'nt) and the ONLY place you could get it was at a bar over at the disneyland hotel (descreetly placed-not in an area that would occasion kids to walk by). i understand the concept of having the beers, sake's, etc. in the restaurants at epcot-but the whole alcohol fueled insanity of "pleasure island" just seems to go against the original disney concept (and if you look at the origin of pleasure island-pinocciho-the boys that partake become "*********" and endure a life of slavery.

Thanks for your comment. I guess not much want to share their ideas of Disney and how it's special in their hearts. PLEASE POST ! I would love some ideas from you guys!
