Help with WaitList Decision Please

I am looking to book SSR THV for Jan 25-Feb 1 2010. I called MS and they have Jan 27, 30 and 31 available but no other nights in my range. Is it better to book those nights and waitlist for the remainder or just waitlist the full range? I beleive I waitlisted the range but am now thinking maybe I should get my name in for the available dates and hope for the best? I am treating my sister and her family to a trip, and we are not interested in moving between resorts so where ever we end up we need to stay put for the whole trip. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If you are not willing to move then definitely do not wait list individual days...you could wind up having to move multiple times. Waitlist for the entire length of stay...You can have 2 active waitlists at once....Why not think about adding another resort you'd like to try out?

Well, turns out I called back to MCO to discuss my options and the lady on the phone was really great in looking around to other properties.....so we booked AKV 2 bdr dedicated at Kidani for the full length of stay. That way I am stress-less and can start to fantasize about our trip. I will likely book the THV for next year's trip and call at the 1 year mark....might as well use my SSR ownership priviledge right....anyway, am happy about AKV and looking forward to our trip!

You can't book any earlier than 11 months, so mark your calendar!!! I have my calendar marked in January to book my December 2010 trip.

Have a wonderful time at AKV. We will be there next March.
