help with vow renewals

For everyone out there that has done a vow renewal, were the choices of locations limited to the 4 resorts (intimate)?

You can do vow renewals anywhere that you can do weddings. For the Escape (formerly called Intimate) packages, you can have a renewal at Sea Breeze Point, the Yacht Club Gazebo, Sunset Pointe (10 ppl total), Sunrise Terrace (10 ppl total), or the Wedding Pavilion (extra cost).

I think I was hoping more for in EPCOT, Italy. Both of us love eating there and our other option would be the Yacht Club. Have you done a vow renewal? When we originally got married it was on a beach, no family and now we want to redo our vows and at least have family there.I guess this weekend we are going to talk more about it and call Disney about questions. Can't wait to get started!

If you do a Wishes vow renewal you can have the ceremony in Epcot, and Italy is one of the locations. However Wishes events have a minimum expenditure of $10,000 (in 2009) and $12,000 (in 2010) and require you and your guests to fill a certain number of nights at Disney hotels. Right now, Disney is offering a few discounts on various parts of the Wishes events if you book and hold your event before Dec. 18 this year.
