Help with vintage non Disney certified Mickey Mouse

We lived in Japan in the mid 60's. There was a plastic Mickey Mouse displayed in the window of a local bank. As a child I did some advertisement modeling for the bank and as a present they gave me the Mickey Mouse. I know absolutely nothing about it and am hoping someone might be able to help me. I've had it packed away for decades and just found it again. It has no Disney stamp on it and has Japanese writing across his chest.
