Help with Travel Insurance

Can anyone explain travel insurance to me? We are booking our flight throught CanJet (putting down our deposit for our group booking) and I haven't had time to look into what travel insurance is all about. Our travel agent uses RBC Insurance. It looks so confusing! Also, what are average premiums? Any help would be appreciated!!

As far as insurance goes ... RBC is the most commonly used insurance policy. You could save yourself some money by getting it yourself from your local Royal Bank branch also, you might want to look into your work insurance policy, as most of these plans include out of counrty protection.
