I have a problem. I have tickets with 3-4 days plus extra bought in 03( no fingerprints were done). Days are still good.My husband is unable to go with us to use his ticket, and my son(11 yo) needs an adult ticket instead of his child ticket. We want to stay for 7 days. My questions are, could my oldest use my husband's, and my youngest son(4 yo) use the child ticket. We would have to get new tickets for the additional days we are staying. And get a 7day child for my daughter(9 yo). Or, Is there a way to add the additional days to the tickets we already have.

What is the cheapest, and better thing to do?

I am thinking that this would work, but I'm not an expert. For the tickets that you already have that haven't been fingerprinted, you should be able to use them to get into the park and then go to guest services and upgrade them to the seven days that you need. Since today's one day tickets are more expensive than 03, you need to use them before upgrading so that you don't have to pay the difference between 03's prices and today's.

Ok, it looks like I was wrong and the old tickets can no longer be upgraded. Look at this link on mousesavers for the best info. It looks like your son can actually use his child ticket if you want and save the adult ticket. But if you have to buy one for your dd anyway, I don't know if you would want to do that.

As a general rule it is not a good idea to mix old and new tickets on the same trip. Under the current procedures the tickets are "front-loaded" and a three day ticket is very close to maximum price. A four day ticket is only $6 (adult, $5 child) more than a three day, and beyond four days it is only $3 per day per ticket. You should check to see what is remaining on the old tickets and use them when you are going to have a trip when you will not have to buy any additional tickets.
