Hi all,
It's my 30th this year and I have always wanted to stay at the DLH. It's of course ridiculously expensive but what perks do you get? I remember something about a fast pass. We would be staying in the cheapest room we could find there so would we get that? Do hotel guests have a private turnstile? Any other tips/thoughts would be most welcome :)

You enter the parks as normal, albeit you are right by the entrance. You get 1 fastpass per person per night you stay which can be used anytime except between 1pm-4pm.

That's about it also get hot breakfast items but you do in the Hotel New York.

Hi

I'm here now and always wanted to stay here and yes it is beautiful hotel but I can honestly say I will not pay the several hundreds of pounds again to stay here. It's so expensive to have room service or have anything from bar in room. Whilst here I needed a cot I had to request this 3 times also my baby has become sick and I had to ask twice for more cot bedding and I've been lucky enough to keep room till 3 as she is sick but someone has come in whilst I was out and they have taken the cot and my coins that were lift on the table. I'm not happy and will be writing an email when I get home. :(

Thanks! Is that 1 fastpass as in good for one ride or one fastpass to every fastpass-able ride per day?

So sorry your baby is sick :guilty:

Good for one ride, if you stay in a suite you will get a VIP fastpass which can be used all day.

I have stayed in the DLH and whilst it was nice I would never pay full price, I got 50% a couple of years back. It is a lot of money for what it is. I know not everyone thinks the same. I say go for it as its special.

I also have no problem staying in the hotels lower then this after staying here.

Thank you again :thumbsup2
We always stay in the NPB and love it but this would be my big pressie. I just want to make sure I'm getting the best deal I can. I think I'll wait it out see if 2 nights free comes up for Dec :) fingers crossed!

We have stayed here the last 2 trips and doing so again in June.

Having said that we would only do so if there was a significant special offer discount on, it's far too expensive full price.

If you go outside peak times of the year it is cheaper.

It's a fantastic hotel, rooms are spacious and well decorated and you are literally almost in the park, it took us less than 3 minutes to walk to the gate entrance last time.

Whilst Hotel New York do a cooked breakfast it's not in the same league as the DLH one.

I would only go if it was a reduced price, but now I have stayed there I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else, it's a fab hotel and you just cannot beat the location.
