Help with SW Dings :(

Please don't think I am an idiot, but I registered for the Ding from SW. I kind of don't understand it. I could have sworn I heard a ding yesterday, so I went to my Southwest icon and clicked on it. I didn't see anything specific for a special. Am I doing something wrong? I'm 99% sure I registered correctly. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

When you registered, did you specify a particular airport? If so, this may be the answer. I swear I hear dings sometimes but no "flag" (or whatever it is called) over the icon. I assumed the ding was for fares for other than my specified airport. If I am wrong, hopefully someone "in the know" will clue us both.

Hopefully you don't have the same problem I do. I have DING, I can see when there is a new one, I click, the box comes up, but when I click on the little jingle part that talks of the sale, NOTHING Frustrating.

I have found that if I don't have another Browser page open, the sale page won't open. I usually hit my Internet Explorer Icon and the SW Ding page opens up.

Mine still won't work. I actually heard the ding today. So, I clicked my Southwest Icon and it just comes up with the website. I do have my Internet Explorer on. Weird, huh? I called SW corporate office. They told me to call my Computer Support person. Could be that I have some firewall that prevents it from getting through. This is....like....too much work for me. LOL!

I hear ya! That is how I felt for the longest time. I am glad someone figured it out for me I am pretty lame with computer, but I was able to check my firewall. Try it So when you click the little wing it just goes to the SWA website and not the little DING jingle box?

I am also lame on the computer. I'm embarassed to say that I found the wing and clicked on it. It was in my bottom toolbar. Maybe I need glasses. I was clicking on the southwest Icon before. Wrong So, anyways, I found my wing. Let's hope it works! Thanks for your help.
