Help with souvenirs

My family is planning a trip to Disney World this September and we're kinda on a tight budget. I want to buy my own souvenirs but I don't have much money.

I want to buy a Pal Mickey, and something cheap (preferably under 20$) from each of the worlds in the World Showcase. I also want to buy something from that Sid Cahugena's one stop shop I heard of. (Does anyone know what I'm talking about ?) And something from the animation shop in Disney Hollywood Studios. And maybe something from the Star Wars shop...

Anyway I have about 300$, and I want to spend as least of it as possible. Does anyone have any ideas on what to buy with lasting appeal? That's cheap?

well from each country maybe u could get a lil somethin that represents the country say for instance france....
u could get a lil eiffel tower or somethin...sorry if im not helpin lol
or a snack like napoleon in france is good
idk if each country has a flag or not...another idea??

T-shirts are always good. They're usually $18. And the shirts are pretty good quality, so they last a long time. You can usually little things at each of the countrys for less than $20 a piece. That's not too hard. As for the animation studio, I haven't been in there for a loooong time, so I don't know what they sell.

But I definitely think that $300 will get you a long way. I usually bring $150 with me for souvenirs, and I always have left over money when I get home.

I wouldn't mind buying T-shirts but I grow really fast. Some clothes that were bought about six months ago don't fit me now. But even if I can't wear them I can still keep them right?

Yeah. Maybe you could tack them up to your wall or something as decoration. I've seen that done before, and it looks really cool.

thats a good idea...i never know what to do with the shirts that dont fit no more that i dont wanna get rid of lol

Each country has a flag that you can buy for like...$3.00. I did that one year. The UK actually has 4 flags, though (England, Scotland, Wales, and N. Ireland).

Other than that, you can make a mask for free at any country and get it stamped and have a decoration added to it at every other country, all for free. I think these are my favourite souvenirs. I make one every trip because they're always different. My most recent one, I left most of the mask face blank and had somebody at each country write "two thousand and eight" in their language (if it was different than english, of course!).

i not sure im gonna do it this year....cuz then i bring them home were flyin n everythin sooo...

I really like the flag idea. Truth is I kinda have 300$. It's part of my college fund. I'm hoping my parents will see that taking a bit out for my first Disney World vacation isn't bad.

Pal Mickey is this stuffed mickey you carry around the park and it gives you info about rides and showtimes. You also can take it home but then all it does is tell jokes. I thought it would be great since I'm a fan of Mickey Mouse and it sounded handy.

The point I think is to get it so you can know facts about the rides, when shows and parades start, when your FASTPASS expires, and so forth. If it's expensive though, I'll probably pass on it. Or convince my parents to get it.

if you collect pins you could get a mickey head pin with a flag print on it. they are only like 6 or 8 dollars each.
