Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me come up with a shirt to wear to my son's football games. This is his first year in football and I want to show him how proud/supportive I am of him. His team is called the Jets and their colors are kelly green and white. I was hoping for a kelly green football or football shape with the word Jets wrote in the center of it in white. It will go on a white shirt. If I could get it the way the NFL Jets have it wrote that would be great.

(in kelly green and without the NY part of course). I will put it on the front. On the back I would like to have mom wrote in jersey style (how they usually have their last names) in kelly green and when I know his number...in the next couple of days..I will let you know that and would love to have it as well. If there is anything else you can come up with that I could use to make something for the team members or the mom's I would LOVE to see them as well. Thank you so much to anyone who attempts this. I greatly appreciate it. BTW, his first game is Sept. 1st so it's kind of late notice and I apologize for that.

original looked more like a watermelon so I grabbed a new football shape!!

PERFECT! and so very fast!!! Thank you soooo much. Could I by chance get you to do the MOM in the jersey style writing and the number whenever I get it? Thanks again. VERY appreciated. Also, if you can think of anything else I could make for the team or the team mom's that would be fantastic...my head is clogged right now and I can't think, lol

Since I have a son that plays football in college...I can help with ideas as I have been there and done that. :goodvibes

For Moms:
1. Buttons

with their sons pictures or

one that says something like "my son is #3"

2. Noise makers

cowbells are fun to decorate...you can use ribbon, stickers, paint and/or fun things at craft stores that they use for mums

you can paint clorox bleach containers and put small rocks, beans...anything that when shaken will make noise

3. Signs

Nothing is better than having someone in a stand with a sign just for you!

4. T-shirts

for UT - all the moms wear a shirt that says "Texas Football Mom" with the longhorn logo on the front and on the back towards the neck...we have our sons name like they wear it on the back of their football jerseys

5. Badge on a Lanyard

The families at UT are super close and most of the families wear name badges on lanyards with the parent's name and the players name so that we can learn each others name and who their son is.

For dads: Buy a baseball cap with the teams emblem on the front then have your child's number on the back like #3. Or you could have a plain baseball camp embroirdered with "Jets Football Dad" and the number on the back.

Thanks a bunch for the ideas! I might try the buttons, signs and maybe the cowbells. I love the idea of the hat for the dads. I might do that for my hubby but don't think I will get into that kind of expense for the others. Their season is only 6 weeks long. Thanks again

Great job on the badge by the way....it looks great!

Here are a few ideas for the team:

If he is playing pee wee or little league...organize the moms and have them each be in charge of snacks and drinks for a game. I think it is important to give healthy snacks, but you could do that and give a fun little candy with a cool wrapper that has the team logo/emblem on it.

If he is in jr. high, then plan on taking a fun game day gift to his pep rally's or leave it at the school office if allowed.

If this is pee wee or little league football...and some of the players have sisters...you could have a mom organize the sisters into a cheerleading squad. My sister did that when her son played and the little girls even had uniforms and would practice during their brothers practice. They had several cheers that they would perform throughout the game. The other squads were impressed that his team had their own cheerleading squad. I think it was such a hit that they now added cheerleading in addition to the football season and each team has a squad of cheerleaders that cheer for their team.

If they have younger brothers that aren't too much younger...you could have them help as water boys.

I really like the idea of doing the snacks and drinks. I was thinking of granola bars. If I can find someone to design a wrapper for me I will make some up to distribute. Also like the idea of the younger siblings, will have to pitch that idea :) Thanks again

I couldn't find your request thread. Would you possibly do the number 14 in both the white and green versions for me also? Thank you so much
