Help with Sheraton Vistana Resort

We have a chance to book at the Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas for a very good price. Anyone have some experience with this property? All info would be greatly appreciated!

We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana resort in September 2008 and really liked the property. The unit was clean & spacious. The resort had excellent security and lots of activities to do when not at the park.

I would definitely stay there again. It is so close to Disney, you turn right out of the Sheraton Vistana then right at the lights and drive straight to Disney - it takes about 5 minutes.

Thanks so much for your response. I'm definitely a research person and have looked all over trip advisor and several sources. It's always helpful to have Disney fans thoughts!

A couple of things to keep in mind when reviewing. Vistana Resort has been significantly renovated over the past couple of years, and quality has improved significantly. It is also one of the largest resorts in the Orlando area, and has a lot to offer - 7 pools, a dozen tennis courts, mini-golf, etc - great if you actually take a day off from Disney. Access to the parks is excellent; but rent a car -shuttles are slow and expensive. Great shopping, and dining are close at hand.

We are owners there, and loving coming "home" for our Disney adventures. Check other threads here for many opinions as Sheila suggests. If you have specific questions, post here and I (or others) will be happy to fill in details.
