Help with searching for codes

I am hoping someone can give me advice. We are traveling to the world in April staying at POP. At the same time we are also in the very begining stages of planning a trip in August of 08. My question is this... I am dying to stay at the WL for that trip and most likely it will be for 9 or 10 nights from about the 20th to the 30th. When should I start looking for codes or discounts? Also would it be better to book through AAA or Disney? Have others found it to be more beneficial to do room only and add the tickets, DDP ,etc. on? I'm sorry if this seems scattered I just really have no idea where to begin. Thank you!

The good news is you have lots of time.. So.. take a deep breath.. you're good.

Dining is only available in a package. Period. So if you want dining, you're getting a package. Again - you have lots of time no need to worry about that right this minute.

Codes for August 08 won't start hitting the streets till December of 07 or January of 08 probably.. Keep an eye peeled here and read and learn before then.

As for booking with AAA, a travel agency or Disney direct.. you'll have people who are advocates of each of those approaches. It really depends to a degree on how 'hands on' you want to be with your vacation planning and so on.

One thing I would recommend, is when you're at the World this April .. take a swing by the Wilderness lodge and have a look around. Might help you with some decisions down the road.
