Finishing my schedule, but still unsure on what day for the MK.

I can go Monday, Sept 20th, or Tuesday, Sept 21st. I know September isn't too crowded, and would like to see the SpectroMagic Parade on Tuesday, but will it be really, really crowded? My 2.5 soon to be 3 year old loves all the parks, but not lines.

Thoughts, ideas? Even if Tuesday is a little more crowded than Monday, will it still be small lines throughout the day? If its going to be a lot more crowded, I'm coming back next year so I could catch SpectroMagic then, I guess.

You are coming at a great time, even crowded on those days is not going to be crowded. You will see shorter lines in the park during the day and whatever crowd is going to be there will come in at night just for the parade. What happens it "crossover" this is where people will utilize another park for the day and just come to MK for the parade. So the crowd (or whatever there is going to be of a crowd in September) will start to show up at MK about an hour before parade time. If you want to spend the whole day in MK you will find that it is not crowded until about that time. Again when I say crowded I mean more people but definetly not crowded in the aspect of a summer time rush.

During that week in September, you will honestly not notice a difference between Monday and Tuesday. Will there BE a difference? Yes. But it's not like Tuesday is going to be shoulder-to-shoulder and Monday is going to be 5 minute waits. They'll be almost exactly the same, from a guest standpoint.

That said, you can expect MK to be crowded for Spectro. Because even if the park isn't that crowded all day, people from other parks will come to MK that night specifically to see Spectro. And that is true all year round. How crowded a park is during the day has absolutely nothing to do with how many people will be there to see the nighttime parade.

:earsboy:

We will also be there in September. We are spending a different day at the MK for all the rides, but will also head over one evening just for Spectro and fireworks. In the past when we have been to WDW during the slower times of the year we have never had any trouble seeing any of the parades. The crowds are so light that you will rarely be standing more than about two people deep regardless of where you watch the parade from.

SoCalKDG,

I too am bringing a 2 1/2 year old that same week.

This will be my daughter's first trip. Those are the same kind of questions I have had.

It sounds like we are in good shape either way. I am use to going “commando” mode, so this will be a learning experience for me.

I think either day will be fine. Tuesday might be a little more crowded because of Spectro. good luck :)

Thanks guys. I'll stick with Tuesday for MK.
