Help with resort

Hi all,
I'll be going back to Disney this August.We last visited in 2001.We stayed at the all stars sports and had a great time.My DD at the time was 9 now she's 11.I would really like to stay at a different resort this time either WL or CBR .The problem is that my daughter had a terrific time at the sports.She would go out at night and play on the football field with other kids and she loved the pools which we could watch her from the room.What I'm afraid of is she going to be able to have as much fun at these other resorts they all look so spread out.Can someone give me some help.She talking about playing soccer again on the football field with other kids.I don't want her to be bored at a different resort.

Each stay at each resort is different. Even if you go to the same resort a few years in a row it can be very different. You may be in a different section or there may not be many kids around. You could book the All Star Sports and not have as many or any kids around that want to play. You could get to WL or CBR and be put near a big family group who is outside alot with loads of kids to play with or put back where there is no one. At WL it wouldn't be quite the same as it is all on big building and it isn't as convenient to just go down and paly on the grass or at the pool unless you got a gorund floor room. I think you might do well at CBR. It is less cartoony but still colorful and upbeat. There are beaches and playgrounds and 7 pools so there is plenty to do and you should be fairly close to an active area if not overlooking one. Going back to the All Stars woudl not be bad either. I know. I am not much help.
