Help with reservation please

I am scheduled to be at Disney 9/30 to 10/7. Arrive late afternoon on the 30th and depart around noon on the 7th. I realized today I have 8 day myw package but I do not need all those days. Can i make the 30th a room only reservation utilizing a discount code? Should I make it a 6 day MYW ?

I guess you would have 2 separate ressies: one for the 30th room only; the other being the MYW 6 day. Before you cancel the first one... make sure you can have the replacements.

When we went in June we arrived on the 22nd late evening and left on the 30th. We only got 8 day MYW tickets. Not sure if the travel agent made seperate reservation for the first night or not but it is possible to do it this way.
