Help with renting a car

Ok, I do admit that I have lived a SHELTERED life. I have NEVER rented a car. Last year, I went to CA with my friend whose mom had surgery there and her dad rented a car for us for the week (I never had to deal with it don't even know how much it cost). Anyway, my mom and I are going to WDW Sept. 28th and we want to rent a car for the Sat. that we will be there, you know FL mall, outlets, etc. We don't know how to go about doing it. I know that there are places at the airport, but what do you do when you want to rent a car and you are not at the airport? BTW, we are flying and using ME. Also how much $$ do you think it will be? just wondering.

You can rent from National/Alamo and pick up the car at the Disney Car Care Center. Also, there is a National rental desk at the Dolphin.

You might want to do an online reservation, because you might not beable to get a car...sometimes they run out...check out Mousesavers for discount codes on renting a car.
