Help with Pools for Kids

Hello,
We are planning to take are 2 & 4 year old to Disney. We want to stay at the Beach Club, but are concerned that the pool is not zero depth for our 2 year old. Does anyone know if this pool is good for a 2 year old? Is there a large area that is only 2 feet deep? Any help would be greaty appreciated.

SAB has a zero entry area and a kiddie pool -- you'll love it. By far the favorite pool on these boards.

IIRC, the beach club pool does have zero depth entry spots and shallow areas with stairs. They also have a great childrens pool with a small water slide. Off hand I am sure that the Polynesian and AKL also have zero depth entry and IIRC all of the resorts have kiddie pools.

Even those who don't have the zero's were fine when my kids were small as they would play on the steps with dh or I and then swim with swimmies.

Sorry! SAB is Stormalong Bay, the pool area at Beach and Yacht Clubs. (I know, half the time on here it seems you can write in abbreviations without actually using real names, LOL!)

Speedo makes a great little swim vest that isn't very expensive(I believe my DD's was only about $15) if you want a little extra reassurence . They are sized by your childs weight and look much like a life vest. You can get them at Target and if you lay it out flat they won't take up to much room in the suitcase . They really hold them up well, much better then those little arm wings and they are better then the suit and floaty thing that is all one piece.

Stormalong Bay is the best pool for kids! It has a sand area for building sandcastle and an entire section that is shallow with a zero entry. Have a great time!
