Help with points uy question?

I have a Dec UY for both of my Contracts and we are from the New England area so I'm thinking we will not be going to Disney any time soon. I banked 33 points in July from my Dec 19 points and so now I have 168 pts in my Dec 20 UY. I'm not sure why I always get confused on when i have to use these points when I can't use them but I'm fine when I can use them, so this is why I'm looking for help.

So here's my questions: Are the banked Dec 19 33 points good until Dec 20 or Dec 21? are my Dec 20 UY 135 points good until Dec 2021? If I'm right and the Dec 20 UY points are good until Dec 2021 in July 2021 if i'm not using them I can bank them into the Dec 2021 UY? which would then make them good until 2022? right?, now if I did that and don't go to Disney next year then I would loose the 33 points from Dec 19, right? cause at this point they are use them or loose them by the end of Dec 2021? correct? Is DVC giving you any way to move them to the next year or was that only during the time they were closed?

If I were going to rent Dec 2020 points when do people normally start this process? Is there still a market for people renting points do you think? any other options or thoughts on what people are doing with their points?

Banked 33 points with a UY of Dec 19 will expire Dec 2021. Yes the banked Dec 2020 points will be good till Dec 2022. Yes you will loose the 33 come Dec 2021. Yes the extra extensions were given to folks who had a reservation during the closure. The Dec 2020 can be rented now if you are making reservations for someone who wants to stay Dec 2020 or later. Yes there is still a market for renting points. Hope this helps.

You have it all correct. I will say that be aware that rental prices have come down and be sure you account for all the elements with your renter if you do it, especially what would happen if they close again, or there is a spike in the virus and the renter isn’t comfortable going.

Dec 2019 points, regular, would be good from Dec 1, 2019 to Nov 30, 2020. Since you banked them, they are good just like current Dec 2020 points, from Dec 1, 2020 to Nov 30, 2021. Dec can be a crazy UY since everyone is talking about next year coming in Jan and you just started your UY on Dec 1.
