Planning to book trip for Feb 2013 - need 150 points

100 points UY April

Booking in March for home Resort Using:
100 Banked points from 2011
50 Points borrowed from April 2012

Will I be able to book another 150 points for Jan 2014 once April 2012 comes around?

With an April use year, a trip in February 2013 falls into your 2012 use year (because it would run from April 2012 through March 2013).

So you would be using your 100 banked points from 2011 (which are now effectively 2012 points).
The other 50 would come from your 2012 use year.

January 2014 is in your 2013 use year (runs from April 2013 - March 2014).
You can use your 100 2013 points.
You can also use the 50 2012 points - provided you bank them by your banking deadline (which should be November 30 2012 I think)
And you can use points from 2014 that you borrow (if you needed them).

Everything is based on UY of travel and not when you call. You have all your points in your contract already--your UY is just the time when the points go from next UY points to current UY points.

So, if you want to travel in January 2014, with an April UY, you will be able to use banked 2012 points, 2013 UY ponts, and borrow points from 2014.

As mentioned, the 2012 points you will be using for the March 2013 trip would not be considered borrowed because that trip falls in your 2012 UY.

Yes. A Jan 2014 stay would be in your 2013 use year. You could use banked 2012, current 2013, borrowed 2014. When you book is not a factor.

You never have to "wait for points to come". All points are already there. All you look at is the use year that your date of stay falls into. A February 2013 stay would be in your 2012 use year (4/1/12 to 3/31/13), so you could use banked 2011, current 2012, borrowed 2013. A January 2014 stay would fall into your 2013 use year (4/1/13 to 3/31/14), so you could use banked 2012, current 2013, borrowed 2014.
