Help with plans for 1 day Potter-fest at Universal

Thanks for the replies. We do have park to park tickets.

We're going to start at IoA, then planning on hopping to USF. However, since the following day is open, I'm going to see how things are going, and we might end up spending the entire day at IoA. Part of my plan was to do the interactive wand at the end of the day, when we've ridden everything and hopefully the crowds are dying down. That said, which town has better wand interactions?

Diagon Alley had more and I think they’re better (that’s probably very much person opinion). But you can stay and do spells after park close in Hogsmeade so that’s really nice.

You can't stay after close in Diagon Alley?

Not in years past. They would start sweeping people out of Diagon Alley as soon as the park closed. I don’t know if that’s still the case or not (we didn’t try this year). I think they leave Hogsmeade open because of the projection shows (that in the holidays are sometimes run after park close) and people coming off of Hagrid’s.

We hung out on Diagon Alley after close but I wouldn't count on being able to. I also would do wands throughout vs just waiting til the end. Have you had a chance to look at the Orlando Informer HP info I posted earlier? It hs a great 1 day itinerary!

Yeah, I've read through that a few times, even before you posted it. Feels like I've seen almost every site with any sort of suggestion lol.
