We are going to WDW in November and have not booked our plane tix yet b/c they are so much more expensive than when we went in May. Does anyone know if they are typically higher in November and if so should we just get the lowest price I can find now or should we wait a little while longer before purchasing? Also, if I purchase my own plane tickets will they still be covered when I add on the Disney Travel Insurance? TIA!!!

I should have purchased for November when they first came out, but I waited and am still waiting. I think I am going to wait a little longer.

Are you flying Pre-Thanksgiving? It is typically higher.

Our dates are November 7-14th. What is making me crazy is we usually go in May and I usually have the entire trip booked about 7-9 months in advance (or basically as soon as WDW puts out prices) so I am not sure if prices are more expensive b/c it is November or b/c it is closer to the date than I usually wait? :confused3 Thanks for responding.

Anyone know the answer to the insurance part by chance? :goodvibes

I don't get the insurance through Disney... I get mine through access america because its cash back in the event to cancel, you can roll the Disney part and the airfare into it, and kids are free. (classic plan)

I am doing my travel insurance tomorrow. Access America (800) 284-8300.

I will check into this too! Thanks for the info!

The tickets are $100 less than 2 days ago.....maybe I should book? Oh decisions decisions.....but it is a fun one, right? :confused3 :)

We're planning on going about the same time, but I'm waiting till Tuesday when Southwest is suppose to open up those dates. I am hoping like heck that they are cheaper than what I'm seeing or we just won't go. We usually do pretty good with Jetblue, but they don't seem to offer as many non-stop flights this year & they are certainly up from last year.

I noticed when I checked them that those dates were blacked out. Thanks for resonding. I think maybe I will wait until Tuesday now as well. My problem is that I want non-stop too. Thanks!

Jetblue has been higher... I used to be able to easily find $99 bos-mco, sale fares with them $79-$89.... I've been getting $138-$164 each way.
But, I also know Delta has been a little higher (not as high though)

We ended up booking bos-mco on Jetblue, mco-bos delta(better flight times coming back & cheaper) because for some reason Jetblues last flight during our sept. dates last flight back is 4pm. I was able to get 6:45p on Delta.

You're welcome. Good luck!

Yeah, I'm seeing close to $300 each way on Jetblue non-stop & Delta wasn't much better. I talked DH into going for the last weekend of the F&W, but not if I have to pay that much in airfare. We went last NYE because it only cost us $1300 total for the 4 of us & now they want $2200 for a non-holiday week. :sad2:

I really hadn't thought about breaking it up between airlines. I will check into that too. Thanks!

Wow! JB is quite a bit more than Delta. Wierd. I have tried splitting them up and it is still at least $1000 more than what we paid for out May trip! Ugh. Guess I will wait to see what SW has tomorrow and then decide. I am guessing as far as the insurance goes I can put everything together based on old posts I found when I searched.
